Pliva's volunteers at Borovje Children’s Home
Zagreb, 29 September 2017 – PLiva’s employees joined their volunteering forces today to embellish Borovje Children’s Home, an institution which implements the programmes of preventing unacceptable behaviour in children and teens by organising interesting, creative and motivating events. The beneficiaries are children and teenagers between 4 and 17 years of age.
Mihael Furjan, President of the Board of Pliva, said: “Pliva’s employees have been volunteering for years and contributing to their communities, and it gives us great pleasure to be able to join forces and leave a mark in our society, particularly among children and the youth. Today’s volunteering event is a step toward a more systematic volunteering programme in Pliva, which will surely affect further increase in the number of our volunteers.”
Around forty of Pliva’s employees painted the fence and the interior, mowed the lawn, planted flowers and assembled furniture, making the stay at the Borovje House much more pleasant from now on.
