PLIVA signed the diversity charter
Piva Croatia is one of the first signatories of the diversity charter, the initiative started in 16 EU countries with the aim of encouraging the implementation of the diversity policy in the business sector, something Pliva has been supporting from its very beginnings.
Mihael Furjan, President of the Board of Pliva who signed the charter, said: “Diversity is immensely important in Pliva, as it enables us to be more creative and innovative in our daily work. Our employees take credit for our success and make us the pharmaceutical leader in the region. It is for them that we need to have the environment in which they feel comfortable and content in their individuality.”
Signing the charter means committing to developing encouraging working environment for all individuals, regardless of the group they might belong in. The charter has been signed by presidents of the boards of 24 companies and organisations in Croatia, taking on the commitment to implement diversity and non-discrimination policy in their environment.
