During the 10th Convention of Croatian Exporters, organized by the association of Croatian Exporters, “Golden Key” awards were presented to best exporters in 2014.
For a second year in a row, in competition with KONČAR ENERGETSKI TRANSFORMATORI d.o.o. and VALAMAR RIVIERA d.d., PLIVA received this prestigious award as the best Croatian exporter in the category of large companies. PLIVA, which exports over 80% of its product portfolio to the major global markets such as the Russian Federation, USA and EU, also received the award as the best exporter to the Russian Federation in 2014, in competition with BELUPO LIJEKOVI I KOZMETIKA d.d. and JGL d.d.
The jury of the “Golden Key” award consisted of the representatives of Croatian Exporters, Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Croatian Chamber of Economy, Croatian Employers’ Association, Financial Agency, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Crafts, Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Croatian Bureau of Statistics, Customs Administration, Croatian Agency for Small Business and Investments and Croatian Radio and Television.
“It is my pleasure to receive this award on behalf of all PLIVA employees because the credit for this award goes to them. Furthermore, this year’s award presented to PLIVA in two categories is yet another proof of the company’s quality, reliability and professionalism”, said Mihael Furjan, President of PLIVA’s Management Board when receiving the award. He also said that PLIVA was one of the companies in Croatia which made significant investments and opened new jobs, primarily thanks to exports. He also added that only competition on the international level could ensure stable growth for the Croatian economy.
“I am sure that all nominees, and especially those who received awards, deserve acknowledgement and I would like to use this opportunity to congratulate them and thank for the acknowledgment of courage and efforts invested in 2014 to achieve such results”, concluded Mihael Furjan.
