PLIVA Receives Recognition for its Investment Project in the Industry from the Croatian Government
At a government-sponsored conference Invest HR, PLIVA received an important recognition for its investment project, i.e. the construction of new capacities in Savski Marof.
The investment in Savski Marof amounts to about USD 100 million and is part of PLIVA's cycle of investments in new facilities and state-of-the-art equipment totalling over USD 200 million.
The facilities for process gas and waste water treatment, which considerably contribute to cleaner production and reduced environmental impact and emissions, have been already finished and put into operation in Savksi Marof. The investments in facilities and equipment for environmental protection amount to more than HRK 100 million.
The construction and expansion of the multi-purpose synthesis plant in Savski Marof is about to be completed, and it will additionally increase production capacities. Over 90% of products from new production facilities are to be exported to global markets, the major ones being the U.S., Russia and EU markets.
The Government of the Republic of Croatia has recognized the largest investment cycle in the company’s history and PLIVA as one of the most successful investors in Croatia.
