PLIVA Awarded for Its Contribution to the Reputation and Promotion of the Zagreb County in the Country and Abroad
The meeting of the County Council, with the presentation of awards for contribution to the reputation and promotion of the Zagreb County, was held at the International Hotel in Zagreb on the occasion of the Zagreb County Day
On this occasion, PLIVA Hrvatska d.o.o., i.e. its site at Savski Marof, was presented the award for its contribution to the reputation of the Zagreb County in the country and abroad. PLIVA received this award for its large investments in the expansion of production capacities at its Savski Marof site initiated in 2012. The investment cycle at this manufacturing site is worth almost USD 100 million and earmarked for the construction of high-tech production facilities and state-of-the-art facilities for treatment of process gasses and wastewaters in line with BAT. The benefits for the local community include both cleaner production and opening of new jobs.
Zoran Bunčić, a member of the Management Board and Executive Director TAPI Croatia, received the award on behalf of PLIVA from Dražen Bošnjaković, President of the County Council, and Stjepan Kožić, County Head.
The meeting and the award presentation ceremony were attended by Željko Reiner, Deputy Speaker and envoy of the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament, Mirjana Mataušić Pišl, envoy and assistant to the Minister of Agriculture, Sandra Švaljek, Zagreb Deputy Mayor and many others.
